As you haven't told us what tax code is in use it's impossible to say if the tax is correct or not but I think the answer you are looking for is
Earnings £1380.51
Less
Tax £86.60
Pension £34.74
NIC £79.56
Net pay £1179.610 -

These are interesting figures.
The tax deducted indicate a tax code of 1136 probably followed by L
Not the standard tax code so has there been any tax code notice for this?
The real interesting bit is the NI which appears to have been calculated using the NI tables. These tables are only used by a few employers these days specifically for ....
"....employers who are exempt from filing or unable to file payroll information online and use manual systems."
What sort of job is your daughter doing possibly a nanny or some sort of domestic service?
Is she employed by an individual rather than a company?0 -
Thanks for that. She is a nursery nurse at a privet nursery. Your right about her tax code its 1135L but I dont know why, I will have to ask. As for the NI , all I know is they the payroll is all done by software and I doubt they are exempt from filing etc..0

If your daughter has not had a code notice she will need to check with HMRC about the code.
The fact that the NI is being done on the tables seems strange and makes me wonder if the employer is using out of date software.
It would be a good idea for your daughter to check her personal tax account at HMRC.

Just wondering if they have inputted the tax code incorrectly for last year i.e 1135L as opposed to 1185L (3 and 8s commonly mixed up!) and then also failed to update it to 1250L for the new tax year? Just a thought!0

Could well be the case, certainly seems that something strange is going on.
Perhaps the OP could check what tax code was used last year.0
