but im not sure if i can. Im currently over a third way into a HP agreement with a balloon payment but due to my current situation i want to give it back and use the money to pay off my debts. i can give it back at half way but thats not till next august. (i have a baloon payment at the end). im not sure what to do. anyone have any ideas?

Hi funky monkey - I'm not sure as to what your options are, but you could always ask the HP company. You never know, you might be able to convince them to take it back early, although I'm guessing they'll want you to pay them for the privilege...

I managed to get out of my HP agreement by selling it back to the garage I bought it from - not sure if its common practice, but its worth a go! I was pretty lucky, they dealt with everything for me in the end, found a buyer, settled the HP, and then just paid me the remaining cash after everything had been taken out. Maybe not the "best" way to do it, but it was definately easiest as far as I was concerned!
