Hi
Is it possible to use tesco vouchers for ordering deals on other family members tesco clubcasrd deals account
we want to to get an annual alton towers pass but only have enough vouchers if we pool out individual vouchers and use them on one account ( same surname and same address)
we dont want to amalgamate CC accounts or contact customer services-and want to do it online
many thanks
steve

Hi
I don't know, this is something I would like to find out too.
I was wondering whether to set up an account in my husbands name, so that we could use the extra points codes on each account, so gaining twice as many so that I can pay for next years OU course.

I cannot 100% confirm but I BELEVE it is possible to use someone else's codes...reason I know this is that I bought some vouchers off EBAY but the guy selling them forgot to cover one of the codes on one of the vouchers. WHen he went to exchange them for deals vouchers he couldn't as some other blighter had already used his code...after he complained to Tesco he got it sorted but if he had not of complained I don't think Tesco would have spotted it.
If you are desperate for the pass I would suggest trying it and then if there is a problem plead ignorance and hope they do not combine the accounts...this is quite risky and you need to decide how important this pass is to you I guess?
Alternatively as the next lot of vouchers will be out in Feb and I doubt you want to go to Alton towers in winter (!?!!?! or maybe you do) then you could just wait perhaps to be on safe side...buy some of the magnetic photo frames - see the other thread to learn about these!
Good luckTesco is my second home:j0 -
I asked tesco CS about this a while ago apparently if the account are all at the same address you can combine all your clubcard vouchers to convert them to deals.
As for the extra points on each account I usually use the extra point codes on all my account if it will let me as some of the codes are targeted
We have 3 Instore accounts and 5 online accounts. My Mission today is to have an opinion on everything.
If you don't like it well you will just have to lump it!0 -
Yes you are right CopperheadJack!!
We do this all of the time combining my son's and ours (different names) but from the same address. In return, I buy my son's shopping now and again sent to a different address - so works well for both of us! If we did not do this, my son would waste his vouchers by shopping at Tesco with them.... :beer:0 -
I asked a similar question not long ago but never got an answer.........
Can i use my mums vouchers ( she doesn't save the deals) :-/ and combine them with mine ??? Surname the same but from different addresses ???0 -
No I think they have to be from the same address but if you give the CC CS a call they will tell you.My Mission today is to have an opinion on everything.

Without a doubt, when ordering deals it has to be the registered CC address. If not, Tesco will reject. But ok to combine CC vouchers with different accts.0

Yes you can, but you need to order them from the registered address.
ie Yours go to your address, & your mums go to hers. Once you have the vouchers you can do what you want with them!
If you had different surnames, this could still be done. You order the deal you want, and get your mum to order days out vouchers which are un-named. As long as you are buying something that is not 'buy in full' then again you can combine these vouchers.
I have a CC a/c registered at my mum's, and this is how I get round the different addresses. I have also done it with vouchers bought on ebay.0 -
well i'm saving them for a virgin holiday. My partner has some vouchers and my mum gives me hers. So would i be able to pay for it using all of these. If not then i'll stop using my partners and just use ones with my surname on0
