Old energy debt

Hi,
I have just received a letter from Intrum about an energy debt which is now over 8 years old.
Is it worth sending the prove it letter to Intrum or a CCA request as I have had no communication from the original supplier to say that they have passed this on to Intrum.
Any advice appreciated.

A CCA request does not apply to an energy debt.

Ad per Sourcrates advice. Were you in the same property 8 years ago? If you were renting, can you show when you moved house etc?
Don't fret, wait to see what they come back with.May you find your sister soon Helli.
