Anyone with a mortgage from Skipton?

Hi,

We currently have a mortgage with Skipton Building Society and the interest is fixed at 1.99% for 3 years.

As things stand, we have 16 years before we are MF, but we'd like to reduce this by making overpayments of £100 per month. I realise this isn't much, but we have to be realistic as to what we can afford, and it would seem silly not to take advantage of the low interest rate.

I've tried looking online to see how we can do this, but there's no advice given. Webchat is closed, as is the phoneline, so my questions are, does anyone have a mortgage with Skipton with which they are overpaying - and how did you arrange this?

Thanks

I just pay into a certain bank account with my mortgage number as reference

I’d call when lines are open to find out the number though, I could give it to you but whose to say I’m trustworthy
  • I'll try and give them a ring - work permitting!
    Thanks
