Hiya
I’ve been keeping my head above water (just) for the past year. I can off the top of my head recall around £20 grand of loan/credit card/ catalogue debt and water board.
I’m on a low rage, working 20 hours at £9 an hour, a single mum of 6, 3 are adults 1 working, 2 on apprenticeship. And 3 under the age of 10. I have no savings but I’ve got to the point where I’m juggling all the bills and starting to miss payments here and there, just to keep the rent paid and food on the table.
Is there somewhere I should be looking for advice? Any cons to going bankrupt? I’ve done reading on like the .gov website etc, but looking for real life experiences
Many thanks for any help offered!

There is always an option but it depends on the details. Can you do a Statement of Account?
On first looks, if it is under £20K then a Debt Relief Order may be possible since you rent and appear to have less than £50 per month of spare money. Any car and if so what value?
Is this the site you saw? https://www.gov.uk/options-for-paying-off-your-debts/debt-relief-ordersUnlike some here, I am not omniscient. If I am wrong correct me. I won't take offence.

Hi
There are always cons to BR - some of them significant depending on your circumstances. Its about whether the pros outweigh the cons? IT can be a life saver if its the right solution for you.
Can you post an SoA on here? http://www.stoozing.com/calculator/soa.php - this is good one and has a 'post to MSE' button at the bottom.0
