I've just downloaded the Boots App as suggested on main website, which said by just downloading the app I would receive 200 points, but after downloading it and putting in all the relevant details it said I would get the 200 points the next time I spent at Boots. Slightly misleading.

If anyone's wanting confirmation, I shopped in Boots this week after downloading the app and my bonus 200 points are now showing. But you're right mjm2811, it was a little misleading.

I have the usual Boots old folks Advantage Card. Is there any benefit (aside from 200 points) from getting the app? If I get the app, can I dump my card or will I still need it?

keep keep the card as I don’t think the app is accepted at some of the tills (self scan). With the all you get offers that are personalised for you (instead of vouchers in post).

I use the app on my phone but it can sometimes be frustrating as the signal in my local store is terrible so i can’t get the app to load!
