The Sun: Argos ‘misleading customers’ with clearance ‘sale’ that has NO discount.
In all fairness the actual definition of CLEARANCE items are those that will not be restocked, which in some cases actually attract a premium. In fact clearance items are often bought in bulk and resold on eBay at a premium price BECAUSE of the limit of supply. Ultimately Argos customers will find out this definition the hard way and I personally don't think they have any obligation to discount items they will no longer be restocking.

Is this not the usual seasonal clearout ?C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z # 40 spanner supervisor. No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.Only after the last tree has been cut down. Only after the last fish has been caught. Only after the last river has been poisoned. Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten."l! ilyë yantë ranya nar vanwë"0

It's "clearance" and not "clearance sale", so perfectly ok.It's nothing , not nothink.0

I wouldnt care. Whats relevant to me is do i want it and am i happy with the price. I regularly buy my trainers from sports direct. They have a permanent sale there and we are permanently led to believe they have 50% off. I dont fall for that. Asking the two relevant questions gets a yes though.0
