Hi all
Husband went BR on 18th April 2018.
Insolvency register still shows him as BR.
Is this something we should chase up with the OR or will it change by itself? (I know its only a week but its a big deal to him, fresh start and all that)
Thanks
L

I wrote to the OR and requested a letter of discharge, it came in handy for opening "normal" bank account post BR. I don't recall how long it took to reflect my discharged status. Your husband may want to consider doing a credit file clean up the sticky is at the top of forum, this is the link https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/677875/credit-reference-file-clean-up-post-bankruptcy

Hi, you need to click on your surname, the record will open and you will see at the bottom of the page that your husband has been discharged.

Your name remains on the Insolvency register for 3 months after you are discharged, then it will be removed.0
