Help!!
So our credit score isn't great and have been working on it for a while but its still not good enough for the high street lenders. The housing development we are looking at is a bit further ahead than they expected to be and the house we are looking at will be available sooner than we thought hence our issue, our mortgage advisor has got us a DIP with Aldermore but looking at the reviews they look awful!
Does anyone have any experience with Aldermore I have seen an old thread on here but its from 2015 what are they like now?
Many thanks Nick

They are fine.
Most of their customers will be complex cases, so that means more underwriting than normal. We used to use them a lot, they are not as good as they used to be, but they are not bad.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. We got our mortgage with Aldermore. 1 default for me from April 2017 for approx £2.5k which is now cleared and a couple of missed payments.
We were kept informed all the way through and we had our mortgage offer 1 full week after application, the day after the valuation. We are just waiting for our house to be ready at the end of June.
It's possible we weren't too complex a case, but they were really good with us and I couldn't fault them so far.July Total - £9,120.950 -
Thanks for the help so far. We are just a both concerned as it's the only one we have been accepted on.0
