i am really sorry if this isnt the place to ask this ... i have suddenly started getting pop up alerts for hideout.tv videos but i dont know how or why its happened. i am signed up to a couple of survey site ie qmee and branded (even though every survey declines me lol ) and am wondering if its through them? whether its is or isnt id really like to stop it but cant find or see anything on my lap top to uninstall


can someone point me in the right direction please?

Hi MessedUp, I think it will depend a lot on your operating system and browser, the notifications may well be coming from your browser.

So for instance I found this page of instructions for google Chrome by searcing for 'chrome notifications' : https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3220216?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en

So in my version of Chrome I was able to find that hideout notifications are allowed as expected. In Windows I was also able to do a system search that took me to a page in settings where I could have turned off various notifications until I found the right one. .Hope that helps.
