Measuring a curtain

sorry if this is posted in wrong place (this page is always open on computer) I am desperatly selling things to make some extra money and have come across pair of laura ashley curtains stuck in cupboard now they have a heading tape on but they are not scrunched(gathered) up. How do i measure the width of them is it just the size they are unscrunched?? Thank you in advance:o

Yes lollyred, the width is just the measurement unscrunched.:D (that's one descriptive word for gathered :rotfl: ) Might be worth mentioning in the description what heading tape they have eg normal, pencil, pinch pleat whatever.

If in doubt measure the bottom of the curtain, but make sure you mention what the header is, and when doing length include the header in that.

Make sure you say that the curtain is ??" wide ungathered. Then it should be quite clear what you mean

I would also mention that the curtains have never been gathered.....makes them appear unused....
