Will this phone work in Europe?
  • Hy all,

Just thought i would let you all know that the phone arrived this morning and its fantastic for the money, however when you open the bag from City Link Couriers check the 2 scratch card airtime vouchers. On the back mine said they had to be used by October 31st 2007 ( today is November 20th ).

Don't contact Carphone Warehouse on the 0845 number on the invoice but instead use the FREE PHONE NUMBER i obtained from Say No to 0870 below.

    0800 0491008

Give them your Customer Number which is on the invoice and explain what has happened. I did and received the following reply.........

" Basically they have had a problem with the vouchers and approximately 8 days after the phone was purchased they will automatically credit it with the £10.00 you bought " however if there is no sign of the £10 credited to your mobile then you need t contact the Carphone Warehouse Direct on 0808 100 9250 i did a search and it is registered as a FREEPHONE Number.

I feel as i highlited this deal i should make people aware of hiccup i had this morning.

    Still a Great Deal though

Just added this bit....... Still go ahead and try the Scratch cards anyway, i did and had a confirmation text message that 200 minutes has been applied in addition to the £10.00 credit, Alls well then

I received mine this morning and there's no airtime included in the package. Can you tell me if it's disguised as something else that I may not have noticed before I start ringing CPW. Thanks.

Hi all, can anyone tell me how many alarms this phone allows you to have?

I need it to have enough for at least 3 alarms, even if they're only memo or appointment reminders etc. Just 3 opportunities for a noise to wake up!
"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"
  • I phoned cpw today and they said they were out of stock of the 2x200 min vouchers and will be posting them out within the next 7 days. And if not received then to phone back.
  • Looks like this has finished. Now £12.95 + £10.00

    I'm too late :(
