any Accord customers got a new fix recently?

Options
We've been with Accord (Yorkshire BS) since moving house in December 2017, on a 2 year fix, so we are due to go on the Standard Rate in December 2019. Apparently they will automatically make us an offer of a new fix, no application necessary, no brokers, blah blah

Between now and then I'm going to need a couple of grand, I was going to do a 0% balance transfer to one of my dormant credit cards, but am worried that Accord's fix offer may not be competitive, and I may have to look elsewhere, and having outstanding credit card debt may count against me.

I have plenty of shares in my employer which I bought at a big discount, deducted from my wages before PAYE & NI, but I'm reluctant to sell at the moment as they are currently trading at around 25% less than at their peak, although i'd still be quids in, and they may may never get back to their peak.

So, has anybody been offered a new fix with Accord? and was it a good offer?

thanks in advance

C

We're with Accord as well and will be coming to the end of our 2 year fix towards the end of this year... so very similar to your situation.

You can look at their customer retention products to see what they're offering at the moment:
    https://www.accordmortgages.com/products/product-transfers/index.html
Look for "Product Transfer List" on the right hand side.
Their new rates come out every month, around the 28th or 29th. I have a look from time to time to see the trends in their offers, and you can do a comparison vs remortgaging to another lender to see how competitive their rates are.. Of course the rates will change by the time you need to make a decision between doing a product transfer with Accord or a remortgage to another lender, but it is useful to see what they're currently offering..
