Okay, this is a bit of a niche product, but it's a very good price.
Tesco normally sell this oil for £1.99 a bottle, but it is now £1.00 and BOGOF, making it 50p a bottle, which is a quarter of the normal price. It's not sold by many retailers in this country, but it is £2.49 a bottle here:

The blurb from their website gives more information about why it is New Zealands number one selling cooking oil:
Alfa One has excellent keeping qualities due to its high levels of natural antioxidants. Light and clean tasting, it is 100% pure cold filtered and high in desirable mono & polyunsaturated fatty acids.
Alfa One has a high smoke (250°) point which prevents food from burning and allows you to cook at high temperatures so it is perfect for frying and searing meat on bbq's.
Alfa One Rice Bran oil is a nutritionally balanced, golden oil with an extremely subtle taste making it a great alternative to olive oil. It is perfect for a variety of uses, including frying, roasting, in salad dressings/dips, and even as a healthy cholesterol free substitute for butter in baking recipes.

Also there was a 50p off voucher for this product about a month ago in a "chequebook" that came with a November magazine (GH or Prima? ), I still had it as I didnt think Tesco sold it. Bought two bottles yesterday and used the voucher. Obviously I now realise it would have worked as a normal voucher, but with these weird products I didnt risk it, especially as the clothing and electrical vouchers were around at the time.0
