Career development loan not on credit file info needed?

I was speaking to the woman in the Co-operative bank and she said its illegal for government backed loans (which career development loans are) to appear on your credit file.

Can anyone send me links to the relevant laws about Government Backed loans appearing on credit files please?

Everything I can see in a 30 second google check is that a poor credit history could stop you getting a CDL

Why can Government backed loans appear on credit file? The woman on the phone said CDLs are not allowed on because they are government backed but we never asked the laws behind why.

The woman from the Co-Operative bank was wrong. Government backed loans can and do appear on credit files. There is no law against this.

Co-Operative bank may choose not to report government backed loans to CRAs, but that's up to them.

A loan is a loan is aloan.
Up to the lender whether they report it to the CRA's or not.
There is no law either way.
