Try https://www.bookbrain.co.uk to find the cheapest seller.
Waterstones are offering 15% discount plus 8% Quidco and free delivery at present.
I don't know if I'm allowed to post the discount code - but its available on Hotukdeals.0 -

For used books, there's nothing to beat abebooks.co.uk . It's my first stop.'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it....for much longer!'0

Abebooks would be my last resort, as they act as a clearing house for other booksellers and so the service is patchy. If there are any problems with your order they blame each other so you get nowhere.
I was buying specialist books, but my order was two weeks later than promised
incomplete

I like 'the book people' (remember to use quidco too). www.thebookpeople.co.uk
Also, if you need childrens books try www.redhouse.co.uk (which I think is a sister company to the book people).
I have also ordered from www.bookgiant.co.uk before - not nearly as much choice as Amazon, but if you want one of the 'bestsellers' type books they are cheap - they are selling that new Jamie At Home book for £5.99.0
