When a competition asks where you found it, what do you say? Mostly there is a choice of tick boxes including "on a competition forum" and I'm always reluctant to tick that box but does it actually matter?

I always put "Friend" ... I'd be reluctant to say Facebook in case the actual company hasn't posted anything on Facebook, saying "Friend" covers all bases really 'cause technically you could have heard from a friend on Facebook.0
