CCJ and applying for mortgage

Hi all, I’m trying to sweep up the last one of my debts with the end goal of buying a house in the next couple of years. I had a CCJ logged against me in Oct last year which I’m in the process of sorting out, however they have offered me a 50% discount to close the debt off entirely. I believe I remember seeing somewhere that a debt “partially settled” on my file can go against me as opposed to being fully settled, is this the case? Obviously if fully settling will have a better outcome for me in terms of getting a mortgage one day then I’d rather do that even though it will take a little longer.
Any help appreciated, thank you

If you are likely to get high street rates, it can make a difference.
If you are looking at sub prime, then it wont make any difference.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
