Where have the tinned blackcurrants gone?

Can't find them in any of the major supermarkets or local corner shops. A disaster if I can't provide the traditional blackcurrant and biscuit pie for the family Easter gathering.

Have you asked the retailers if any stores near you stock tinned blackcurrants ?

Any local famrmers markets local to you ?

I had a similar problem when I was searching for blackcurrants a few months ago. I think they've all been taken to make Ribena .


Would frozen blackcurrants be any good? If you have an Asda nearby, they sell a berry medley https://groceries.asda.com/product/fruit-smoothie-mixes/asda-frozen-for-freshness-berry-medley/910003052793 with 200g of blackcurrants that are quite easy to separate.

Do you live in an Ocado delivery area? It lists Blackcurrant Pie Filling.
