BR date booked

I rang the local County Court today to ask about their proceedure for going BR and found out they were already booking for the first week in January! It's a two step process at my local Court so you have to go in on a Friday with your forms and fees and see the clerk and then the following Tuesday you see the Judge and are declared BR.

So the forms are in the post and the date is now booked. Weirdly, although there is still a lot of stress at the moment, I do feel a slight sense of relief, a light at the end of the tunnel I suppose.

Due to no fault of my own, the business is now doing really badly as well so relief at not having to worry about how I am going to pay some of those bills.

I did end up changing my phone number in the end, BT did it for free, so the calls have stopped which is a relief. Some companies were calling 12+ times a day every day including Sunday starting at 7.30am!!

Thanks to everyone for all the advice so far.

Certainly sounds different - I must admit that I've never heard of that, but it might not be a bad idea - might be to allow time for 'cooling off'

    Anyway - Good Luck.

Hmm! that's definatly a new one.

Glad you have some respite from the phone calls now. That must make life a wee bit pleasenter. I've only got the 2 ringing me at the moment at 4 times each a day and that's bad enough.

Sounds like you're making good progress. :)

Even with the slightly odd court arrangements.
