Hi, I'm so sorry about your aunt. My Mum died of cancer two years ago and I know that dealing with a terminal diagnosis is very hard. I think a window crystal is a wonderful idea. I hope you all have a lovely christmas xTotal Original Debt: £30404.24
Current debt: £18586.16
Total Paid: £11857.74 38.95% :T0 -
We went through this with my b/f'smum around christmas 2001, she too liked massages and things so we bought her a foot spa, slightly odd present but she loved it for the short amount of time she got to use it.
Lots of love to you and your family-i know how difficult this can be xx:xmastree: Comping since: june 2007:xmastree:not won a thing!!:wall: :wall: :wall:0 -
What about a facial? I know it sounds a bit odd but someone I knew who was in this position did go for facials since there were a lot of people visiting her etc and she wanted to look her best. She had one a couple of days before she died because we have a 'wake' tradition in Ireland where the person's body is kept at home for a few days and friends and relations visit and pray over them and she wanted to look as good as she could for it
sorry if morbid but that's how she felt. Maybe not suitable for your aunt but just a thought.
The other possibility if she is able to eat or drink is to buy £30 worth of the most expensive of whatever is her fave food or drink. So a jar of very expensive harrods jam or a minature of very good whiskey...
I would guess though that you thinking about her will mean more than anything you buy so whatever you get will be right! I hope it all goes okay.0
