Hi
Is anyone waiting for a decsision on a mortgage application with bluestone?
What’s the application process like? Does anyone know waiting times? We have DIP just need to submit full application. So scary!!

They are not the quickest.
They can be frustrating, but if your broker has experience with them you can usually prevent a lot of the frustration by pre-empting a couple of their "quirky" requests. They do usually get their however and will work with you/your broker to get the application offered if it fits criteria.
Despite my post, I do actually like them - but they can be hard work.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. That’s great thanks so much for your reply.
What kind of quirky things do they ask for? Just wondering if I can get things together now to speed it up! :j0 -
It will be dependent on your case. They have their standard requirements for everyone but then the quirks of your case will dictate anything else needed. Without knowing a lot more it is difficult to say.
If your broker has used them a few times they will have an idea, if not, just be prepared that there might be a little bit of back and forth... That is not necessarily a bad sign btw, just frustrating.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
