Hire cycle Insurance - stand alone

Hi,tacted
I am planning to hire an electric bike in spain. Does anyone know of an insurance company or broker that specialises in hire bike insurance?
The cost of a replacement bike is in the region of £4000-£5000 and the hire companies want to charge around £250 a week to cover the risk of total loss or damage. This seems a bit steep!
I have contacted Snow Card who provide my annual multi trip insurance and they do not offer this kind of cover which seems odd given that they specialise in activity holidays and most people hire equipment (e.g. skis).
Thanks in advance
Rob

Yes Yellow Jersey offer this. They do short-term bike insurance and as long as you’re hiring from a reputable firm and get the full retail replacement value it’s all done online.0

Found the links with Google yellowjersey.co.uk/the-draft/top-tips-bicycle-hire-holiday/

The hire company may refuse the hire without their insurance charge which probably adds to their income.
Before you buy anything here I would check that they will accept it. Are they going to verify and agree to to pages of terms and conditions written in a foreign language?
I can imagine the response of a British cycle hire shop being offered a Spanish policy instead of paying the shop's insurance fee.0
