broker commission on same lender remortgaging

Do lenders pay commission to brokers for retaining customers? I have a fixed deal finishing soon and want to know if the lender would pay a broker commission for sorting me out a new deal with the same lender.

    Depends on the lender.

    I didnt think they did but I was told recently that some of them do.

    Halifax, Woolwich, Accord, and a few others do. Most dont.
  • More should but only a few, I think more lenders will.
