Will my mother receive my farther’s state pension?

Hi,
My mother is just about to receive her state pension and I was wondering if she would receive any of my dad’s state pension who sadly died in 2002? As he does when he was 36, I imagine he didn’t build up much In terms of contributions but it would be Halsey to know.
