I contacted hmrc this morning for an update. Mine is still showing as repayment pending on their end. The lady said there is no notes attached to my repayment (which I'm hoping is a good sign) and she put me on hold to see if she could find out more information. After being on hold she said the claim is just going through the process and although the SA was completed on the 7th, a repayment claim was only generated on the 9th. Which would only make it the 4th working day as of the 15th. They try to process repayments within 10 working days. The 10th working day would be the 25th when taking into account Easter Bank Holidays :mad: but she hoped it wouldn't take that long. Just a waiting game as always. I'm still mildly optimistic of receiving a payment this week

We filed my partners SA on the 6th and I cant remember exactly when I requested repayment, it was either the 8th or 9th. It's been on Bank Repayment Pending for over a week now.
I read on the 2016 thread that it doesn't usually update on a Sunday or Monday so hopefully things will change tomorrow.
I have found that sometimes it doesn't update till late afternoon though. I will check in the morning and update

I requested mine on the Wednesday morning... However there was a glitch in system and had to get them to request it... Didn't show up till late last night but stayed on the 12th date..... Last year the first lot was issued on the 15th so hopefully anyone who done them before the 9th will get issued tomorrow and clear by the 18th

I just checked and it's still on the 12th. I looked at last year at it took 6 working days to change to issued, hopefully we will all see issues when it updates tomorrow

Hmm I was hoping when I called them they would be able to tell me it had been issued, or at least was about to be issued as they have access to live, up to date information. But got no such reassurance. Going through last years thread I think it was the 18th when people started seeing 'payment issued'?!

But goodluck to everyone waiting, it's my second year of this and still find the anxiety of waiting almost intolerable :rotfl:

Yes had mine issued 18th and paid 19th next year. Let's hope they are feeling nice and get it done and into bank before good friday or issued ready for the Tuesday after Easter.

I think it's a little to early. I had a feeling it would be Wednesday before seeing payment issued as this would be the same as the time taken for it to change for me last year. Which would still go in on the Thursday before the Bank Holidays, if hmrc are trying to clear as many as they can before Easter. That's me hoping they actually care :A As I said mine definitely hasn't been issued yet, but very well could be for others :T .
