That wasn't the point. This is all hypothetical at the moment, but I would rather hold onto the phone rather than passing forwards and backwards over a barrier. But thanks for the reply.

All I would say is that I recently went on a flight with my wife and used my phone when going through the checkin barriers and she went through with my ticket and I went through on hers!
