Help to buy remortgage
Futuristic
I decided to go through one of the online free brokers recommended on MSE and they've came back with a offer from HSBC but on the illustration it has no mention of the help to buy equity loan and the product code is just a normal re-mortgage option.
Does anyone know if hsbc accepts htb equity second charge remortgages on their normal products? Of course, will ask the mortgage advisor again to confirm this as the rate is good compared to others i checked online eg. skipton etc who have seperate htb remortgage products.
Thanks

Are you repaying the HTB loan or are you leaving it behind and having a deed of postponement?
I suspect your broker thinks it's the former, while you are planning the latter...?I am a mortgage broker. We are not repaying it, still got ~2-3 yrs interest-free period.0 -
Just in case anyone ponders upon this post. HSBC will only accept remortgage with HTB if 50% is paid off/added to the remortgage from the equity loan.
Going through barclays now0
