95% mortgage

I'm currently saving up a deposit to buy. It would take me too long to save the 10% required to get the better deals, so I'm hoping for a 95% mortgage.
I've used loads of the online calculators but does anyone have any experience of how hard they are to get?
My credit score is 'good' and I have no late/missed payments or anything like that.
I did ring a FA and they ran their standard affordability check but then just said to go back when I had found a property.

Every lender is different.
"Good" does not really mean anything.
There are lenders who are easier to get a mortgage through in general and there are lenders who are more likely to accept certain quirks than others. It is difficult to say with such limited information but assuming no late payments and a saved up deposit, I would expect you to be able to get a 95% mortgage.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Hello,
I wouldn't recommend applying for a 95% mortgage with 'Good' credit score as they are quite hard to get and lenders would like to have trust in you I would look for someone maybe a mortgage broker who can search for y0
