Changed jobs after exchange.

Hi all,
I've had to change jobs after exchanging and am due to complete in 10 days. I've already gone through this with my mortgage advisor and they said Kensington (the lender) have done all of their checks and though they are likely to perform ad-hoc credit checks they won't check employment again.
Since then it's come to my attention that it is possible for another check before completion, I've been in my new job for 5 weeks now, all is going well & my pay is better than before but two things are troubling me now, first is that getting an offer from Kensington in the first place was a nightmare due to my adverse credit. Second is the fact that for 5 weeks I've not notified them.
I'm most worried about the latter, are they likely to withdraw the offer based on the fact that I've not notified them of my change in circumstance for 5 weeks or will they see the light side in that I'm in a new job with the same role and better pay & overlook the delay in informing them?
Thank is in advance.
