Not had a chance to update on here but I've had a really low spend week, couple of bus fares and a few cheap packets of crisps, only spent £2.60 so far all week. Plus the contents of my change jar which went to Children in Need collection this morning at work!

95p on a egg mayo sarnie. The crackers I keep at work just aren't exciting me enough any more, so couldn't face them.

Probably buy a bottle of wine for tonight as well, so another £4.68. Still, less than the £10 I give myself a day, so wahey!

  • Hi everyone!
Thank god it's Friday - what a week! I was lazy last night and didn't make sandwiches, so £3.50 on a meal deal and Twirl plus 45p on a paper (been getting them all week for Granny who wants the free DVDs but doesn't live near a WH Smith). Night in front of a film for me tonight, can't wait, and there's a bottle of wine in the cupboard so that should be it for me! DID see a rather lovely pair of black jeans though, managed not to buy them with the thoughts of payday in a week...

£2.33 on shopping, minus the mince as no room in the work fridge. Remembered the all important limes for some G&T's later ;)

Hoping for another NSD today - have had them the last 2 days as well!

Bought in lots of fruit and some home made banana bread as well as some soup (not home made - working up to that :o ) so not been tempted. (The chocolates somebody bought in have helped today  )

I'm glad you told us what the limes were for - I was frantically trying to think of a recipe that required 'mince' and limes. :rotfl: :rotfl:
