Pension Forecast - Worth the extra NI Contributions ?

Can anyone give me some advice concerning a Pension Forecast I just received this morning.
Pension Forecast 2042 - £154.96
Estimate based in Your NI upto 5th April 2018 - £46.96
Forecast if you contribute until 2041 - £154.96
The most you can improve your forecast to is £164.35
I am 43 and have been a soletrader for the last 7 years making NI contributions but missed out on quite a few years due to personal / family reasons .
Would it be worthwhile topping up (if possible ) another concern is that I do not have a private pension just savings .
Any help would be appreciated

If you're 43, you have another 25 years to make your contributions up to the full amount (35 years at the moment) so have you less than 10 years of full payments at the moment? Any part years?0

Try above.
Consider starting a personal pension - a stakeholder might do for a start while you consider your options?
