You don't need to include a year in your end date. It should just read E: 10/04, in exactly the same format as all the other posts. It is important that they are all exactly the same for sorting/searching purposes.

You can't delete a thread starting post/Thread. (You can delete a post within a thread)
You can edit the Title by clicking on Edit Post and then Go Advanced. This gives access to the Title. Click Save Changes after amending.
