Sole trader and going BR

So does anyone have any advice please.
Looking at going BR debts have made me realise my errors and I’m now paying out more than I’ve got coming in.
So as a sole trader I’m confused I’m not registered or trading as a Ltd company just use a trading name.
Now this is where the confusion sets it, so say I trade as Kevs Kafts once in bankruptcy do I have to trade as Kevin Smith trading as Kevs Krafts (not real names obviously) or could I just carry on as Kevs Krafts.
It’s just I don’t like having my true identity out there So using a trading name suits me a whole lot better.

As a Sole Trader - it is you personally - not the 'trading name' that will be bankrupt. You can continue to use that trading name after bankruptcy. For more free advice I would look at businessdebtline0

Bear in mind though that if you are self employed your name AND trading name will be published in the Gazette by the Official Receiver.0
