Proof of child benefit

Anybody out there experienced a request for child benefit letter? TSB are currently reviewing our application.
I have submitted the part of the letter that has all the detail of payments to our broker, and TSB have seen our bank statement showing the transaction.
Our broker has asked for the full document, but the Mrs is such an organisation freak that she has binned pages 3 and 4 which have the "Help & advice" on them - as they were generic pages and she didn't think they were worth keeping
Is having the full document really essential or will TSB be happy with the bit with the important information?

Call child benefit and they'll have it out to you within a couple of days.0

I was pre warned to have mine from our broker so I got it but in the end didnt need it.
Ring up the child benefit number and they will issue a statement of child benefit. they say it can take up to 2 weeks but mine took 3 days0 -
If you are really up against a time deadline, ask another parent if you can borrow their pages 3 & 4, scan them, merge that with the scanned pages 1 & 2 & print the lot.
I would hope no mortgage lender is going to require full copies of the help & advice data from every would-be-borrower who is a parent but it ought not to be too hard to cobble a passable facsimile.
Indeed I might look a bit thoughtfully at a broker who couldn't field and defend the essential paperwork.0 -
Thank you for the replies. I have requested a new copy but instructed the broker to submit it to TSB as it is.0
