Asking for a friend who recently started working in a high complex needs schools and needs to join a union.
Any recommendations? rough costs a month?
In school its a unison rep but has been told of GMP???

If Unison is represented in the school with a Rep, I would go with them .
Unison is a Public Sector union.
GMB is a general union which covers any and all workers.
Cost, for Unison, varies depending on salary, probably around £10 a month for a TA.0
