  • Can't comment on this particular Hertz offer since I haven't tried it. But, Hertz are notorious for being the worst ever for sucking you in with a decent-sounding deal and then stinging you with hidden charges. You have NO CHANCE of getting this at the advertised price.

Read on for tales of rip-off:

There is a rather large blackout period too, almost a whole month in which it cannot be used.

Can you use Quidco with this? Usually £8?
  • Didn't mean to rain on the OP parade but I hate Hertz with a passion. They really will invent all sorts of ludicrous extra charges for example "Concession Fee Recovery" to make their money back.

On my last (and final) rental from them they charged me this on top of a supposedly fully-inclusive pre-paid package in which they ALREADY charged me for a "CFR" item! They claimed the two were subtly different and not the same thing. Plus when I collected the car they told me the inclusive insurance was not actually any good and I had to buy even more insurance. I could go on.

Just avoid. Car rental companies are all a bit like this but Hertz are outstandingly the worst.

Hahahaha Zetec Andy thats typical of Hertz, The customers always knew anything before the staff, I use to work at Bmth airport branch and they were always running this offer with Ryanair !!

  • Lynn, im not admin, i deliver Hertz vehicles to customers.

Hertz arent a bad company atall, if nobody can understand the details when booking they need help.

Ultrak3wl, Which branch did you hire from? not all branches are strictly Hertz, some are franchise branches although recently all branches have been bought back.
