Your estimate of user numbers is too high - one of the high value radio competitions (£34,000) that did not need anything special for the WTC and you did not have to be registered to enter received 553 thanks and 2265 views (unlike thanks views are not unique and increase every time the post is looked at). Most single post competitions get less than 500 views and less than 300 thanks.


The 240 odd thanks were on the last completed game.


The edit simply removed the ? from the date



Perhaps most importantly when the post was made on the thread that there was an "April Fools" it also confirmed the normal one was coming soon - so at no point was the thread identified as an "April Fools".
