My daughter found a "free" photo printer on https://thewizardonline.com/

Clearly there is at least a catch, if not a scam. Does anyone know what their angle is?

Harvesting card details that you use to pay for shipping?

Either way, if it seems too good to be true, it normally is

There is a claim made here that it is a scam but there is nothing to back their claim up.
The website, thewizardonline.com, is a fake online store. Online users are advised to stay away from the untrustworthy website because those who shop from it run the risk of receiving counterfeit goods or nothing at all.
As @marcarm said, “if it seems too good to be true, it normally is”.

Funny enough, there is very little online about the site. This thread is one of the only results on Google!

At a guess, I'd say you have to add a card that won’t be charged (but will really). Or they just harvest data and don't send you anything.

There are a couple of reviews on Scamadviser with people getting nothing and another claiming their credit card was hacked shortly after.

Everything they 'sell' is free so how do they make money? Probably best staying away.

The website is flagging up as riddled with spyware when I try and open it here, so maybe that's another angle to the scam.
(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)

I had also noted that the offer was ending within less than 4 hours, but going back the next day, the countdown was running again

It's a scam site designed to harvest credit card numbers. Domain only purchased recently at GoDaddy. Have reported it to their abuse e-mail address.

Peel back your baby's eyelid to find no nationality or religious identity mark there. Peer at your baby's eyes for them to reflect back just people-throw away your flags and religious symbols...
