This is shockingly old now, honestly I think I purchased in 2011 and it is not effective anymore.

I'm going to make my bed at the naughty step now, I was resisting an offer on a website where you get a £200 goody bag when you spend £150 as it was only on skincare and I specifically wanted body stuff and make-up.....unfortunately they changed it to apply when you spend £150 on anything.

I was just on that website but resisted to urge to buy anything..:rotfl:

I was tidying up my make up and found Clinique Chubby Stick for Eyes - I bought this a while ago and this makes my eyes feeling very tired and heavy. I remembered then I had this issue when I first bought it and stopped using it. This will go to bin, shame i love the colour. I actually want to buy couple of eyeshadows but will wait till I'm in Berlin over Easter and visit Sephora..

    A few INs today:

Bumble and Bumble Don’t Blow It (Fine) 60ml
Bumble and Bumble Repair Blow Dry 60ml
Bumble and Bumble Don’t Blow It (Fine) 7ml sample
Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat/UV Protective Primer 30ml sample
Bumble and Bumble Save the Day Daytime Protective Repair Fluid 3.5ml sample
Bumble and Bumble Bb. Pret-a-Powder Tres Invisible Dry Shampoo 25ml sample
Bumble and Bumble Bb. Thickening Dryspun Texture Spray 25ml sample

As part of their Great Hair Week, you can pick up to 5 samples, and it was just a lucky coincidence that I was going to get some more of the Don't Blow It cream. I'm also excited to try the Repair Blow Dry cream.
  • thanks sstevo19 for the new tread

I want to use up more of what I have and get rid of stuff that is beyond use or mistakes.

I finished the micellar water from loreal. It was fine. I would buy if it was on offer but all together i seemed to use a lot of it. It has a twist off lid and I repurposed the bottle for liquids without a squirt lid.

My cauldalie vinoperfect has only a few goes left but it is going soon.

I hope to pan another shade of the naked 2 pallette. I bought it in 2014 and intend getting every cent out of it value wise.

My flomar concealer is running out. hopefully I can get a cheap replacement soon.

It seems some of the CHEAP items I bought last month are running out so fast..... Is it better value to buy something more expensive and finish it? My eyebrow pencil is too soft and while 2 quid is cheap if it only lasts a month or so, a more pigmented product is better.

I agree. It is better to spend your money on things you know work for you rather than keep on buying and then getting rid and spending much more in the long run. I am trying to adopt this approach to all areas of my life.

I repainted my nails last night with Nails Inc Uptown, I put Essie Pinking about You as a topcoat on my ring fingers, it is a sheer pink with pink and white pieces suspended in it, it looks very lovely.

UU today: Garnier Ultimate Blends Argan Oil Shampoo. Still have some conditioner left. WNBA. Didn't tame the frizz.

My nail colour reflects the dark clouds over our way up North at the moment - OPI Liv in the Gray with OPI Live and Let Die on my accent fingers. Going away at the weekend and will be switching to a Springy colour - OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I looked out Lucky Lucky Lavender the other day, but ended up using Ciate Prima Ballerina, it has started to chip badly this afternoon so a change is due.

    First UUs this month

Superdrug aloe and mango shampoo 300ml WPNB it was fine for a cheapo but a little drying

One conditioner 50ml WNB not moisturising enough for y hair

Lush Mother Earth bath bomb. WMB but probably not as I have so many now and I like new ones. It was very pretty in the bath, gentle smell but dissolved quickly as it’s very old
  • Had a mini purge this evening:

    TA

The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion
    Scholl Dry Skin Exfoliator
Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Peel Off Mask
L’oreal Elvive Fibrology Instant Thickening Mist
    1 large tub of Sudocrem
    Witch Naturally Clear Blemish Gel

All of the above have been open for a while. I already have alternatives to all of them that I am currently using.

    Stash total is 27
Less is the new more :D
