Legal & General transferring personal pension plan to ReAssure Limited

My wife has been contributing to her personal pension plan with Legal & General for years. This week she received a letter from L&G concerning a proposed policy transfer to ReAssure Limited (https://docdro.id/g84L8uK) that includes her policy. Oddly, I also have a PPP with L&G but I have received no such notice.
Does anyone know what this is about? I'm a little concerned whether such a transfer is in my wife's best interests. Any thoughts are welcome.

All info seems to be here and all personal pensions are affected I think ...

The AVC part of one of my pensions is being moved within L&G and won't be going to ReAssure. It won't be availble to access for 2 weeks, but should be available when I plan to withdraw it.0
