For those who can be bothered there are lots of MA options of course:
VLS, L&G MI, HSBC GS etc.
I'd happily recommend any of those to a family member once they'd worked out their risk tolerance.
There will still be a huge majority of investors who will probably prefer not to shoulder the worry and be happier letting others make the decisions for them...if for no other reason than when markets fall they don't have to hold a mirror up.0 -

Perhaps. I wonder if these days the vast majority of unfortunate souls holding expensive MFs via expensive advisors are older people on autopilot who never bothered to look at what’s going on and the options since setting it all up a long time ago. And I wonder if FAs who let them continue on this dumb course will ultimately be held responsible.0
