CCJ after Gladstone's unresponsive

Hello all,
I've been reading through a lot of the threads but just wanted to come on for some advise before deciding my next move...
I've been sending letters back and forth with Gladstone's the past couple of months after they sent me numeous "threatening" letters always referring to the driver and keeper different and denying liability. They sent me a letter before claim in November to which I responded to offering to make an offer of £60, the original PCN which is dated 12/08/17 (the car park doesn't even exist anymore, nor do I own the vehicle anymore). They sent me a follow up letter before claim on 03/12/18 where I responded with a copy of the same response sent I had sent in November 2018.
I moved out of my family home in June 2018, my mail has been re-directed to a new address since 17/07/2018, this ended on the 21/01/2019 and I forgot to re-apply this right away so it started again on the 25/01/2019. There may have been this time where I'd missed this claim form I should've supposedly received, I've now had an alert on my credit report stating I have a CCJ to the amount of £276 from County Court Business Centre. Problem is, I have to apply for my first mortgage in a couple of months so not 100% sure if I should now just pay up and shut up or continue fighting this...
I also have no clue who I would even pay as I haven't received any recent letters from them or anything regarding the CCJ.
Any help and suggestions would be much appreciated! Thank you.

why did you not inform the parking co and gladstones of your new address the moment you knew you were moving
you need to contact the court and ask , what date was the claim sent and to what address
did you receive a formal letter before claim from gladstones? , this should have been one month before the actual court claim0 -
I didn't know I was moving, I had to move after unfortunate circumstances and so didn't think to let them know as for around 3 months after I wasn't 100% sure where my new permanent address would be.
I received a letter before claim from them in November to which I responded to by post.
Thanks, I will contact them in the morning.0 -
before you continue , you need the date of claim , and to check if you were covered by post redirect or not0

Great thank you, they're closed now but will follow up in the morning0

If it's earlier, then paying it DOES NOT remove it from your credit rating - it would still ruin your credit fir six years as it would just be marked 'satisfied'.
Instead, you'd have to get it set aside, like you see on all the CCJ set aside threads here - hopefully you've been reading some already.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just spoken to them, they said it was sent on the 25th Feb to my old address. So the redirect service should have sent that directly to the new address0

Complain to your MP. On 18th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these private parking companies. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, and persistent offenders denied access. Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers.
Until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Complain also to Royal Mail that you paid for a service and did not receive it.0

Thanks I will do that too!0

The amount they have claimed appears to have been inflated. Had you attended court and lost the amount you wouldhave to had paid woul have been unlikely to have exceeded £200. Thet are claiming for costs which the Law does not allow. Complain to their regulatory body
