    I went in for the sparkling Pinot blanc yesterday morning and was told they were given all of 2 boxes - and it went fast. So if that's anything to go by, get there early and with transport.

    I haven't tried that one, but in my experience the French white wines from Lidl and Aldi are less sweet that their New World equivalents, which I prefer. They are crisper.

    I got confused, thinking their was a nut-only version of the muesli that I'd missed - no such luck, but was happy buying the usual.

    There was a £10 off £40 voucher in The Times today and another tomorrow in the Sunday Times.

    No Sauvignon Blanc left in my branch today mid morning.

    The voucher for £10 off £40 shop in Lidl is in today's Sunday Times. It has to be used by close of business on Thursday.
