    Did they ask for signed info like mandate and direct debt etc?

    Our application went in Friday.

    We both work in same job employed for over 10yrs. Just my default in 2014 which I owe with an ex £22k that we both paying off @£50pm.

    Yes had to sign deceleration and mandates too
    We have applied to borrow 179000 with 66k deposit

  • @scotjah what deal did you take is it fixed term? When did yours go in? And have they come back with more info? We sent all that today
  • We also are doing the valuation until they agree a mortgage so no risk, £300 for that
  • @scottaj, when did you give all the rest for your documents ? I signed and gave rest in yesterday. Now waiting 48hrs for them to review.

    It isn't the best rate by a long way, 5.09% fixed for two years.

    But it has got us the house we wanted and it is only for two years, three months of which is paid up already.

    In two years we should be able to go with a mainstream lender, reduce our mortgage rate and reduce the term of the mortgage while keeping our monthly payments much the same.

    Tuesday but thinking we probably won’t hear anything until after the valuation on Friday 🤷🏼!♂️
  • We got our mortgage offer today subject to valuation, that’s booked in for Thursday. So 7days profess to offer of what we wanted. Just have to wait now till next week for them to agree after valuation.
