My son has inadvertently signed up for Spotify Family and has offered me a link. Having checked Spotify it appears you have to live at the same address.
Does anyone happen to know if this is rigidly enforced?

One of my colleagues manages to use it as family in conjunction with his daughter's account and she lives at the other end of the country!0

I can confirm that this works - I have 'Spotify family' in Wales and Kent, and as you make sure they sign up with your postal address, there is no problem.1

I'm doing this with my sister in law who lives at a different address, doesn't make any difference, I just changed my account to their address and she invited me.1

At the same time, you have to buy the Premium Plan to listen to songs on Spotify without any restrictions.

Well 2 years later and nothing from Spotify so I would say not

I've had a Spotify family account for the last year and the 5 other people all live all over the UK and I don't know them from adam
