Can anyone advise please ?
My cc debt from Nat West sold to PRA group they are calling most days I’ve not answered but had letter from NW saying where to send payments
Ive been paying £10 a month for 7/8 years as unable to work due to mental health problems.
Worried they are going to demand £10000 I owe
Do I write I don’t want to speak to them
Thanks

The PRA group now own the debt and that's why they are trying to contact you - but that's nothing for you to worry about. Lots of NatWest debts have been sold off to them. They will simply want you to set up your repayment plan with them and you will be able to continue with paying your £10 per month.
Just write to them with your offer to continue with your £10 payments and if NatWest have given you all the necessary information (reference number, payment details etc.) - include in your letter that you will be setting up the payment instruction and the first payment will be made in x month and add that you don't want to be contacted by phone and all communications are to be in writing.
Also, in the meantime, do stop your payments to NatWest immediately so that those payments don't go astray and you can block PRA if those calls are causing you unnecessary anxiety.0 -
You wouldn't suit a Debt Relief Order, would you?
Must not be a homeowner,
• Debts less than £20,000,
• Can have a car worth up to £1000,
• No other assets of more than £1000,
• Must have £50 or less left at month end, after all essential payments have been made (not inc debt repayments),
• Cannot have had a DRO in last 6 years.0
