From a data point of view?
If you know you entered a competition from that company to win that prize, then I'm not surprised that they are looking for age verification, and you can probably rest easy on this one.

Not that unusual for an age restricted product like alcohol and some seem to want it for almost everything.

I've won from gin rag before and sent them my details with no problems so I think you'll be OK.

I recently sent a copy of my driving licence. Slight flicker of concern (human nature I think), but not worried. Pretty normal for booze wins.
2024 wins: *must start comping again!*

Neah, don't worry about it, they're just covering themselves legally (age prohibited goods).

    Enjoy your Gin!

Do people actually buy gin anymore? It seems that every second competition (especially on TW) is for Gin, I wonder if people just win it now and never have to buy it again.

    Funny you should say that.
I cancelled my wife's craft gin club membership after winning The Gin Cooperative's competition on FB in November. I won 5 bottles which they sent 1 per month (to promote responsible drinking!), so yes, we've not bought it for ages.

But that'll be you back in the market now, 5 months is up/almost up.
Better get on twitter and do some shopping :rotfl:
