Dodgy text from Argos

supposedly received a text from Argos saying I have won their monthly comp, with a personal code and a link to check what prize is. Is this a scam or what. this is the link, deleted link.
I do it just for fun and whatever I win is a bonus

I had the same text from Argos on Sunday. I sent them a message on Twitter and this is scam which had been sent to a lot of people. Best to ignore it.0

He doesn't use his mobile number on many competitions, mainly those radio comps at the end of the week, so wondering how they got his details as they used his first name.Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0
